You Never Know What Is Going To Happen.
What starts out as an ordinary day may be the beginning of a whole new phase of your life. You may bump into a stranger who turns out to be your soulmate, or you may be plunged into a whirlwind adventure that will leave you breathless! The problem with trying to connect the dots is that you can only do it in hindsight!
Steve Jobs says, “You can’t connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backward. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. You have to trust in something–your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. This approach has never let me down, and it has made all the difference in my life.” When you learn that connecting the dots is impossible to do in advance, you learn to trust in other things to move you forward. You simply cannot foretell the future, and despite what you may hear, no one really can. Therefore, you must have something else to guide you, and that thing is called “faith.”
For some, faith means religion. However, faith is not just religious. Even those who are not religious are likely to have faith in something, whether it is themselves and their decision-making ability, the advice of a trusted friend or just the waves of the universe. In its purest form, faith simply means that you believe that things will work out as they were meant to.
When I met my husband, I was not expecting to be swept off my feet. In fact, I was not expecting to meet my soulmate at all! However, that is exactly what happened and it is exactly what was meant to happen. I was meant to meet the man that became my husband on that day. Who knows what your destiny has in store for you today? Instead of meeting unexpected events with disappointment or frustration, try taking a wondering approach. Was this the universe speaking to you? Are you mean to be exactly where you are right now for a reason?
